This project is for a PIC based function generator.

 

The PIC chip contains 32 waveform presets, each waveform consiting of 64 bytes (64 voltage points) per waveform period.

 

The frequency range of the function generator is between 10 - 1700 Hz. Frequency selection is made possible by a variable resistor, and a switch bank, which allows various multiplications of the variable resistor setting.

 

This project is designed to run of the mains power.

 

Output is between 0 - 4 volts, and is ideal for a simple bench top generator.
